The name Homeosiniatry was fashioned by the French acupuncture physician Dr. R. de laFuye, MD. He was an extraordinary acupuncture researcher and teacher and brought the synthesis of acupuncture and homeopathy into being.
Initially he referred to the work of the German physician Dr. Weihe, who already at the beginning of the 19th century had recognized the connection between sensitive points on the skin and homeopathic remedies, even though he did not know Chinese acupuncture. For de laFuye the combination of acupuncture and homeopathy - two pillars of holistic medicine - had to open a new door in the treatment of many diseases.
Two sound protocols have emerged in homeosiniatry:
It has been proven that acupuncture and homeopathy can complement each other. Each disease process is accompanied by sensitive points on the skin. On one hand these correlate with classical acupuncture indications and on the other with the pictures of the homeopathic remedies.
Autohemotherapy stimulates the self-healing powers of the body. It results in a changed state of reactivity in the organism and produces an increase of antibodies in the blood. For this therapy some blood is taken from the vein and is then reinjected. The blood can be used unadulterated or it can be enriched with remedies.
